Marie-Thérèse RYNDUCH-GAERTNER

BIOGRAPHY

She has given many piano recitals in Mulhouse, Colmar, for radio broadcasts in Strasbourg and Basel, and also in the United States (New York, Washington, Chicago) during a study trip. She has played concertos under the baton of Jacques Pernoo, of Henri Tomasi in Mulhouse and Vichy, and of Robert Bergmann, then director of the Mulhouse Conservatory.

Alexandre RYDIN

BIOGRAPHY

After studying clarinet, cello, piano and percussion at the Geneva music academy, he settled in Lausanne where he was commissioned several works by the city as well as from various cultural or private bodies.Rydin’s catalogue includes works for orchestra, instrumental music, chamber music, choir and lieder.Over 50 books have been published by French, Belgian, Swiss and American publishers.

Cyrille ROSE

BIOGRAPHY

His principal teacher was the man who invented (with Buffet) the modern clarinet : Hyacinthe Eléonore Klosé (1808-1880), professor at the Paris
conservatory. Rose win his first prize in the Klosé’s class in 1847.
From 1855 to 1891 he was principal clarinet at the PARIS OPERA ORCHESTRA. Gounod, Massenet and some others consulted him on clarinet technic.The famous aria “Ah! Pleurez mes yeux” from the Massenet opéra « Le Cid » was thought for the Rose alto clarinet.

Denise ROGER

BIOGRAPHY

Denise ROGER (1924 - 2005) completed her entire education at the Paris Conservatory. She enrolled at the age of eight, and was later awarded numerous first prizes. In 1986, she received the “médaille de vermeil” from the city of Paris for her work as pianist and composer. Her catalogue includes one hundred pieces. Confronted by the various orientations of contemporary music, Denise Roger chose to maintain her independence.

Laurent Raynaud obtained the Diploma in Music Studies in writing, harmony, counterpoint, composition and orchestration at the Mulhouse Conservatory in the class of Frédéric Unterfinger.

Ariel Ramírez, is born in Santa Fe September 4, 1921 and died in Monte Grande on February 19 2010, is a songwriter and contemporary Argentina pianist. It is also a theater artist (film music composer, soundtrack or actor). He allowed the dissemination of traditional South American culture through an extensive discography and exhibitions from 1955 to 1980.

Philippe PORTEJOIE

BIOGRAPHY

Philippe PORTEJOIE, after securing a 1st prize in saxophone at the CNSMDP, obtained his CA (certificate of aptitude) in saxophone in 1982. He is full professor at the CRR and the Paul Dukas Conservatory, both in Paris. To date he has recorded 45 CDs (Duo Portejoie-Lagarde, Claude Bolling...), participated in studio sessions for film music (Faubourg 36, OSS 117...) and performed all over the world (USA, South Korea, Europe, Latin America...).

André PONS

BIOGRAPHIE

André Pons was born on June 26th, 1932 in Castres (Tarn), and died on August 8th, 2018 in Le Puy-en-Velay (Haute-Loire). He studied at the Toulouse Conservatory, and then at the CNSM in Paris, where he was unanimously awarded first prize in 1952.
