Laurent VADROT

BIOGRAPHY

Specialising in the euphonium and the ophicleide, Laurent VADROT secured a first prize at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon in 1992. An eclectic musician, he performs a wide range of musical styles, from the earliest works composed for these two instruments to contemporary music.

In 2013 he was awarded an interpretation prize in Kürten for his performance of Karlheinz Stockhausen’s In Freundschaft. He has written numerous arrangements and has recorded 3 CDs, Le Désir, Kinntanz and Tierkreis.

Frédéric UNTERFINGER

BIOGRAPHY

In 1987, Frédéric Unterfinger won the first composition prize at Most composition contest. In 1998, he won a first writing, orchestration and analysis with a specialization for music in the image at « Conservatoire National Supérieur de Lyon.


His artistic encounters made series commissions occasions, songs arrangements, albums, shows. He will approach all kind of music with French songs, children movies and variety…

Isabel TROCELLIER

BIOGRAPHY

Trocellier was classically trained as a flautist, then studied electroacoustic music under Régis Renouard-Larrivière, Christine Groult and Nicolas Vérin. Her acousmatic pieces have been performed in various festivals (Nuits bleues, Motus, Licences, Palais de Tokyo...) She also combines improvisation (Mixar Collective...) with video and dance.

François TASHDJIAN

BIOGRAPHY

A self-taught composer, his taste for writing first became apparent at the age of 7 (composing his own musical exercises) and took shape at the age of 14 (his first work for solo flute: "Le Chat et la souris", composed at that age, was published in 2000. His "compositional" approach began in earnest under Philippe Capdenat during the year 1994-1995 at the ENMD in Montreuil (93).

Philippe SLOMINSKI

BIOGRAPHIE

He entered the Lille Conservatory in 1974, where he was awarded first prize in 1977. In 1978 he joined the Musique de l’Air in Paris and performed in the Parisian revues of the Moulin Rouge and the Folies Bergère. Philippe Slominski has given numerous concerts with the Big Bands of Claude Bolling, Martial Solal, Antoine Hervé’s National Jazz Orchestra and Michel Legrand, with whom he recorded film music. 

Georgio SIGNORILE

BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1962 in Cuneo, Signorile began studying guitar at the local conservatory, first with Pino Briasco and later with Paul Manzo, graduating in 1986 with honors. He subsequently worked with Betho Davezac and started appearing as a soloist and in chamber music groups. During this period he was particularly dedicated to contemporary music performing with L'Assieme Chitarristico Italiano.

Patrice SCIORTINO

BIOGRAPHY

Born in Paris in 1922, the composer Patrice SCIORTINO has produced a large body of works which pass from solo pieces to symphonic portraits with choir, certain of which were government, radio or ensemble commissions.

Vincent SANTAGIULIANA

BIOGRAPHY

At 14, he joined the CNR of Annecy in the class of Jean-Michel FRECAUT.

In 2008 he entered the CRR of Rueil-Malmaison (92) in the class of Alain MANFRIN, where he won an Excellence Award.

In 2009, he was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon in the class of Michel Becquet and Alain Manfrin. There he also studied Sacqueboute, in the class of Daniel Lassalle, and at the same time took a Master’s degree in Chamber Music.

He is a member of «Quatu'Or en Cuivres».

Gino SAMYN

BIOGRAPHY

Gino Samyn secured a First Prize in piano and saxophone at the Lille Conservatory in 1995. He continued his studies in Paris under Jean-Yves Fourmeau and Claude Delangle. There he obtained his State Diploma as a saxophone teacher and became eligible for the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Paris.
