BIOGRAPHY
In 1970 he entered Louis Robillard’s organ class, 2nd medal, and Marcel Damant’s trombone class (2nd prize).
As a conductor, he has been invited to conduct in Czech Republic, in Poland with Ukraine’s Lviv Opera Orchestra and with the Rzeszow Philharmonic Orchestra. Conductor of the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia, he has also given many concerts in Spain, Switzerland and Germany.
In 1988, he won 1st prize in the City of Avignon’s International Composition Competition.
He was the director of Toulon’s National School of Music and Dramatic Art between 1997 and 2005.
Between 2000 and 2008, he was the solo trombonist at Marseilles’ Théâtre de l’Odéon. Since 2013 he has been teaching conducting at the CRR in Lyon.
