Biography
Founded in 1985, the Magnifica brass quintet became a laureate of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation, and confirmed its talent at international competitions in Baltimore (USA) and Narbonne (France).
Since then, the ensemble has taken part in major festivals all over the world and has made numerous recordings which reflect the unique complicity of its members.
Armed with this professional and recording experience, the Magnifica quintet has enriched the brass repertoire: renewing existing pieces, adapting and commissioning original works, it has triggered new artistic collaborations and helped expand the audience for brass music.
This collection, several years in the making, is the result of work dedicated to music and those who serve it.
