Patrice MORANDEAU

BIOGRAPHY

Born in Paris in 1974, Patrice Morandeau began learning music at the age of 6, studying the violin, later switching to the viola then to saxophone, and very early on felt the urge to compose.

While studying for a master’s degree in history at the Paris I University, he also studied harmony, orchestration, analysis and French horn at the CNR in Saint-Maurdes-Fossés. As a composer, his catalogue ranges from chamber music to symphonic music and educational pieces; he also writes arrangements from the repertory for various ensembles.
