BIOGRAPHY

He was awarded the SACEM’s Grand Prix de la Musique Symphonique in 2006 and was nominated five times at the « Victoires de la musique Classique »in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2012.

Nicolas Bacri belongs to a new generation of composers who are creatively and personally reconciled with the «tonal feel». Over the years the reach of his music has extended well beyond the confines of his native France, with major concerts in Great Britain, China, Finland and particularly in the USA and Germany. His many successes have enabled him to work with some of the world’s greatest orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre Philarmonique de Radio-France and the Spanish National Orchestra, but also for such world-renowned conductors and performers as Riccardo Muti, Elena Schwarz, François Leleux, Patricia Petibon...
