BIOGRAPHY
Composer, pianist and trombonist Marc Lys holds several degrees from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse (CNSMD) in Paris.
Having previously taught piano at the Conservatoire de Lille, he has been teaching sight-reading for brass instruments at the CNSMD in Paris since 2005.
He regularly guest conducts prestigious ensembles, and famous soloists have commissioned original works from him. Ranging from solo works to musical theatre, his work encompasses all styles from classical to jazz and pop/rock.
