BIOGRAPHY
Born in Paris in 1955, Alexandre Ouzounoff helped expand, over a period of twenty years, the contemporary repertory for bassoon thanks to his contacts with composers. Having practised improvisation with musicians of varied backgrounds in Europe as well as Africa and the United States, he chose to devote himself to composing commissioned works, while regularly arranging pieces for a wide range of instrumental settings.
