Alain GUILLOUZO

BIOGRAPHY

Following his higher education course in guitar under Roland Dyens, and in opera singing under Guy Chauvet, he devoted himself to composition with Alain Weber, and to arranging and orchestration at the CIM (the Paris-based jazz school) under Yvan Julien. He has since composed for cinema
both in France and the US. His musical eclecticism has led him to work, among others, for Guy Touvron, Yuriy Minenko, the Octuor de France, Juan José Mosalini or Disneyland Paris.

He has founded and manages the professional ensemble Paris Vocal, with which he has recorded his own Misa Latina for mixed choir and Tango trio (bandoneon, piano, double bass). He has also recorded his Stabat Mater with countertenor Jean-Michel Fumas.
In 2009 Alain Guillouzo founded the corporate foundation Art’uel; he is artistic director of the corporate events agency Fond’artuel.
