BIOGRAPHY

Professor emeritus of saxophone at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and of orchestration at the Conservatory of Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg).

Alain Crépin has conducted the Royal Band of the Air Force and has been artistic director of the Belgian Defense Orchestras.

He mainly composes for wind instruments, and has recorded over 60 CDs.

Founding president of the Dinant International Saxophone Competitions, he is a member of many international juries and has played concerts all over the world.

He is a regular guest conductor and has accompanied the greatest saxophone soloists. He also created the International Saxophone Ensemble of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
